RESTUARANT LISTINGS

My list will not be as large as the restuarant guide. But, I'm listing the
ones I feel are worth while, and offer a good value, atmosphere, and food
quality. Check to see if each restuarant offers a "table d'hote" menu. If it
does, then order off of that. It is the best way you can go, because it
includes appetizer, soup or salad, main course, and of course desert.
$=economical, $$=moderate,$$$=moderate to expensive,$$$$=espensive.

Tremblant Mountain Village

Fat Mardi's $-$$
Flat out the best restuarant in the upper mtn village. Fantastic cajun
cooking. The sweet potato fries are to die for. Great food, fantastic
service, huge portion sizes, nice apre makes it my favorite spot at the
resort. When you go in say hi to Kevin and Pete the owners and crazy John
the bartender. Tell them Russ from Tremblant-insider.com sent you and you will be treated right.

LES ARTISTES. $ to $$
Located on the hill in the main pedestrian walkway. Les Artistes offers a
wide variety of food ranging from almost pubgrub to fine gourmet cooking.

La Grappe Vin $$$ to $$$$
Well this is the place for the splurging romantic couples, or mom and dads
night away from the kids to spoil themselves. This place has romance written
all over it. And paying the price for it is well worth it. Full on French
cooking with a wild game menu. And if you know your wines, well the name
says it all. It is located in the main entertainment area of the village.

"LeShack" $ to $$ 819-681-4700. Establish in 1994 this resto-bar quickly set the standards
for Apre in the village. Offers a variety of menu items to fit everyone's needs. Breakfast
buffet has made to order Waffles, Omelets, and Crepes. Bi-Lingual staff.

Pizzateria $ to $$
Well it is a pizza place. The name says it all. But it is decent place to
take the family, and good place for young couples. It does a pretty good
apre as well. Located on the hill along the main pedestrian walkway. Phone number 819-681-4522.

La Savoie $$$$
First off it takes reservations only after 2pm. But it is well worth it.
French Alps cooking at it's finest. Doing the fondues is a must. But be
ready to take your time and not rush things. Dinner here will take at least
2 hours. And well worth taking the time. Located in the main entertainment

La Diable Brewpub $ to $$ to $$$
Depending on the bar tab, or if you are with "Shortski, and Dr NO" :P. Well
if you love beer this is the place. And they are all good. But be advised if
you get a pint of "Octagon", because it has a 13% alcohol volume. They have
great pub grub. The fries are the best. Seems to be the start off point
before going to all the lively bars at night. Located in the entertainment

Creperie Catherine $$
Fantastic place for crepes. Whether for breakfast or for dinner. Located in
the entertainment area of the main village. Phone number is 819-681-4888.

Ya'ooo Pizza Bar $
Slice and a beer $5. Ya can't beat that. Nice place to start the night off
as well. To be honest its a dirt baggers dream come true. But don't be
misguided. It is an upstanding establishment. Located in the entertainment

Spag & Co. $ to $$
Basically a pasta joint. I'm not to thrilled with anything in there. But
it does a decent job for families on a budget. 819-681-4522

Casey's $ to $$
Wow has this place undergone a change. They flat out have the best wings in
Tremblant and they are huge. Best place for food, value and fun. 819-681-4601

MONTE RYAN

Bon Vivant Grill $-$$$
-Boy what a very nice restuarant. Located in the "Chateau Beauvallon" off
of the Monte Ryan access road it is indeed a dining treat. Dark wood
interior with a comfort flare. And the food. Oh my word. Bran new menu
for this season and you just want to eat everything on it. Fantasic lunch
specials from $10 that includes everything. For dinner you cannot go wrong
with anything on the menu. A must visit dining experience. For

OLD MONT TREMLBANT VILLAGE

Le Cayenne Grill $-$$
Very nice place in old tremblant village. They specialize in SW cuisine.
Portion size isn't the greatest but the food is very, very good. So is the service. 819-429-6868

La Chaumiere de l'Anse $-$$
Everyone, this is the place you want to stay if you are a couple. It has a
great location. Some of the most comfortable rooms you will find in the
valley. And it is private, and very affordable. Rachelle will take care of
you like no other innkeepers in the valley. I give this place *****. And you
won't believe the breakfasts included. Located along 327 going from Old
Tremblant Village to the mtn. You turn left just after the flashing yellow
light at "Chemin de l'Anse". If you can get a reservation here then do it

Le Saint Louie $$ to $$$
You will find this listing in the Hotels as well. The restuarant over looks
Lac Mercier. It is without a doubt one of my favorite places. The food,
service, and wine is the best. True french cuisine. Located right next to
the stop sign on Rt 327 going through the old village. It is the first place
I ever stayed at when coming up here. I recommend it to all. And do the meal
plan if you do stay at the hotel. Your stomach will thank you, but your hips
won't. You will just have to ski more. Call for reservations. The website is

Hotel Club Tremblant $$ to $$$ to $$$$
You will find this in the hotel listings as well. It is a beautiful place
over looking Lac Tremblant and the ski mountain. You can eat a gourmet meal
in one of their restaurants or do the buffet for breakfast, lunch, or
dinner. Take the 327 going through the old village towards the ski area.
Just before you get to Lac Tremblant you will see the sign on the left hand
side of the road sending you to Hotel Club Tremblant. Check about

Hotel Mont Tremblant $-$$
And don't let the $ rating fool you. This is five star dining. Table d'Hote
starts at $15.95CAD. Located in the main section of Old Mont Tremblant
(large white building). Reservations needed if not staying at the hotel. The

La Fourchette Folle $$$
Fresh Market Fare. Great atmosphere. Place to find a good Scotch. Located
one block down on the right from Hotel Mont-Tremblant on the main road.

Ristorante e Caffe Ital-Delli $$
My favorite Italian place. A Mom and Pop restuarant that just breaths good
tidings. You come, you eat, you have a great time. Located on the left side
(white building with green canopy doorway) of the main road going through
Old Mont-Tremblant one block past Hotel Mont-Tremblant going to the
mountain. Call for reservations just to be safe. Phone number 819-425-3040.

Bon Vivant Grill
Located in the new "Chateau Beauvallon" on the Monte Ryan this place is

SAINT JOVITE
Now all of St Jovites restaurants are on the main road going through the
town. The road is called "St Jovite". No kidding duh. Anyway the road runs
north and south. Take the 327 exit off of the 117, and turn into town. At
the first light is the main road. You can find your way from there.

LeVerre Bouteille $ to $$
A very cool little bistro, and is a very intimate place as well. It has some
of the best Veal dishes you've ever had. Located on the main road. It is a
small store front so look for an egg shaped green sign with the name, and a
bottle of wine with a wine glass on it. Reservations recommended. Phone number 819-425-8766.

Bagatelle SALOON Steak and Grille $$
Well yes the name says a steakhouse. And you can get fantastic Buffalo
steaks there as well. Great old wood decor. Reservations suggested. On the
main road, and you won't miss the sign. Phone number 819-425-5323.

Antipasto $ to $$
You can't miss this place. It is the old train station in St Jovite on the
main road. It even has an ice sculpture of a train in front during the
winter season. Mostly it is an Italian restuarant. Great pasta dishes and
open stone harth cooked pizza's (the seafood pizza is just killer). It can
get busy there, so call in advance. If you can get seated upstairs that is

Le Cheval de Jade $$ to $$$
A very elegant place for a romantic dinner for two. Fine french cuisine.
"Chef Tali" flame cooks most dish's at your table. Located on the main road
just before you go up the hill (has a black horse on the sign). It is a very
nice white cottage looking building. Closed on Wednesdays. Reservations

La dauphinoise $$
A french take on a wild game and fresh fish menu. Surprisingly moderately
priced for the food and service you receive. When purchasing a meal for 2
people a complementary bottle of wine is included. Located on the main road
on top of the hill on the right hand side. Call for reservations. Phone number 819-425-5594.

Trattoria Di Lago $$ to $$$
This is a splendid restuarant located on Lac Maskinonge'. You take hwy 327
out of St Jovite going to Arundle. You will drive about 5km before you get
there. Then you will see the lake on the left hand side. You will be able to
see the restaurants deck lights from the hwy. It is almost next to the hwy
so you will be able to see where to turn left. This establishment is
actually a few blocks from my house. Call for Reservations. Phone number 819-425-5557.

Le Vieux Four $ to $$
A very nice place to dine and enjoy your meal. And you are able to order
half sized pasta dishes. The normal sized dinners are quite large portions.
If you order takeout you will save an extra 15%. Located 3 stores down on
the right hand side past the light on the main road. Phone number 819-450-6060.

l'Escalope $ to $$
Grilled meats and wild game menu. Nice salad bar. One of our favorite places
to have dinner. Very reasonable prices. Fantastic service. Located on the
main road at the top of the hill on the right hand side. Reservations

Moe'S $ to $$
A great fun bar/restuarant. Located right on hwy 117 right when you come
into the area. It is connect to the "Club de Vacanne's Tremblant (hotel that
will be listed). Fantastic Anglo-American fare. Has live bands on the
weekends. It is always busy. Phone number 819-425-9821.

Le Sentier du Village $ to $$
The best pizza in the valley. But it serves a wide range of other dishes as
well. If you decide to order takeout you will save 15% off of your bill.
Located on 327 when leaving St Jovite and heading to the Mountain. Yellow 2
story building on left hand side. Phone number 819-425-8005.

C'est la Vie $$-$$$
Located on St Jovite st in well Saint Jovite this restuarant opened last
year. And frankly it is highly underrated. It is one of the best dining
experiences in Tremblant. Service is the best I've had here. And the food
just sends you into heaven. Say high to Sylvie the hostess. 819-681-0779
